Located 2 km from heart of Bumthang town on a slopy ridge above few metres from the highway at the base of pine trees mountains, it’s a decent family run establishment having its own organic garden and inhouse producing local alcoholic beverage, ‘Ara’. 

It features eighteen comfortable well-appointed room equipped with Bukharis (traditional wood burning stoves). All rooms are with en suite bathroom and large window and balcony providing picturesque view of Jalikhar village below and river flowing through narrow valley. All rooms are spacious, wood-panelled with pine wood flooring making stay comfortable during winter. The windows are traditionally carved and painted with auspicious Buddhist sign and flowers. Room amenities also include Wi Fi, tea / coffee maker, hair dryer etc.

The establishment offers traditionally decorated full-service restaurant & bar. It serves pure organic Bhutanese, Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. Buckwheat pancakes, momos, buckwheat noodles, ema-datshi (chilli & Cheese preparation) are some of the specialities of its restaurant. A min-bar attached within, specialises in local whisky (Ara) made from buckwheat while range of other local and international beverages also available. Its dining room has a huge wood-burning stove, providing a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for a post dinner chat.

Situated on a hillside, there are several hiking options from the resort, to experience the charm and exoticness of mesmerising Bumthang valley.
